Eligibility

  • All new members of Air Premia’s website are given the Blue status.
  • For members who are reviewed for an upgrade following an expiration of their existing status if the upgrade score is less than 4,000 scores, they are given the Blue status.

Upgrade score

  • Upgrade score is the score that serves as a basis for member status.

How to calculate upgrade scores

  • One score is awarded for every KRW 1,000 of fare paid.
  • Calculated by adding up all the upgrade scores earned in the previous 24 months.
  • If your promotion score reaches 4,000, you will be promoted to GOLD immediately, and if your promotion score reaches 9,000, you will be immediately promoted to DIAMOND.

Valid period for member status

  • Blue status members maintain their status for two years from the day they are given the Blue status.
  • If the conditions for an upgrade are met while the member status is maintained, early upgrade may be possible. In such a case, too, the new status is maintained for two years following an upgrade.

Eligibility reviews are carried out every night at midnight(Korea Standard Time). Based on the review results, member status are upgraded, maintained or downgraded.
  • Members who meet the conditions for upgrade are immediately upgraded
  • Blue status members who have an upgrade score of 4,000 are immediately upgraded to the Gold status.
  • Blue or Gold status members who have an upgrade score of 9,000 are immediately upgraded to the Diamond status.
  • Based on the upgrade scores a member has as of the status expiration date, the status is maintained or downgraded
  • If the upgrade score as of the grade expiration date is under 4,000, the Blue status is maintained or the member is downgraded
  • If the upgrade score as of the status expiration date is under 9,000, the Gold status is maintained or the member is downgraded
  • If the upgrade score as of the status expiration date is 9,000 or higher, the Diamond status is maintained

  • This benefit can be used for paid seat assignments and is available upon advance request through the reservation center.
  • This benefit is applicable only to the members own seat assignment.
  • Availability may be limited due to airport or aircraft conditions.

Seat upgrades

All Diamond status members are offered two vouchers to upgrade seats to Premium Economy seats.

Terms and conditions for using the voucher for upgrades

  • This voucher can be used only when an Economy – Flex fare was purchased.
  • This voucher is valid for two years from the date of issuance. Vouchers that have expired are automatically removed.
  • This voucher can only be used to upgrade the seat of the individual to which the voucher was issued.
  • Depending on the circumstances at the airport or the aircraft, the use of vouchers may be restricted.

Priority boarding

All Diamond status members are offered priority boarding benefits. Priority boarding is offered to up to four accompanying people.
