To ensure the safety and comfort of our pregnant passengers, we provide the following services across all routes:

  • Priority Seating
  • Priority Boarding
  • Priority Baggage Claim

Air Travel Guidelines by Pregnancy Period

Less than 32 Weeks Pregnant

You may travel by air under the same conditions as general passengers, except in cases where you receive a recommendation from a physician to refrain from air travel (No additional documentation is required).

32 Weeks to 37 Weeks Pregnant

A total of 2 copies of a doctor's note (1 original/1 copy) must be submitted.

The doctor's note must be issued within 7 days of the boarding date (which also applies to return flight dates) and must specify: 1) whether the pregnant passenger is fit for travel, 2) the expected delivery date, 3) the gestational age (based on the date of issuance), 4) any signs of labor and any pregnancy-related complications

37 Weeks Pregnant or More (Multiple Pregnancies 33 Weeks or More)

Boarding is not permitted even if a doctor's note is submitted.

How to Prepare a Doctor's Note

  • Please prepare 1 original and 1 copy of the doctor's note.
  • The doctor's note must state: 1) whether the pregnant passenger is fit for travel, 2) the expected delivery date, 3) the gestational age (based on the date of issuance), 4) any signs of labor and any pregnancy-related complications
  • The doctor's note must be issued within 7 days of the boarding date. Note that this also applies to return flights: If the return flight occurs more than 7 days after issuance of the certificate, a new certificate must be issued within 7 days of the return flight.

    • May 8: Note is invalid
